Atlantic Beach developer plans extreme sports resort in Central Florida

“Atlantic Beach developer Larry Walshaw is planning a $309 million sports facility in Osceola County that would include a ski mountain, skatepark and zipline courses — and could generate millions of dollars in economic impact. The complex would also include a Hyatt-flagged hotel and a restaurant, Walshaw’s Xero Gravity Action Sports said in announcing the project on Tuesday, as well as the International Action Sports Hall of Fame.
